It Is the Mission of the Stormwater Utility to have a proactive inspection program that identifies flood-prone areas, remediates those areas, expands or enlarges existing systems to eliminate the flood areas identified, and improves water quality and quality of life for its residents, where applicable. This mission includes explicitly the requirements of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit and all other mandates as appropriate.
