[00:00:28] Street. Miss Manns. Yes sir. Mr. Arizona could you present the agenda item? Thank [00:00:35] you very much City Manager. We were approached by friends of the Hacienda in [00:00:38] terms of our project and they've been working very hard at constructing this [00:00:42] wall. We've reached out to several contract to provide bids and we received [00:00:46] them back from Hennessy Construction, D.L. Porter Construction and Greg Henry. We [00:00:53] did put the word out for a local contractors because we really like to [00:00:56] work for them. Mr. Henry submitted a bid of $18,658 but in reviewing that bid we [00:01:03] kind of reached out to Public Works and said can you look at what this [00:01:08] construction is involved and Public Works sent back to us a plan review [00:01:13] memorandum and then we actually forwarded that to Mr. Bender who issued [00:01:19] an information bulletin and then we actually kind of sent that to Mr. Henry [00:01:25] on his $18,000 bid and asked if he can hold that. What we're [00:01:30] recommending is basically to add a 25% contingency to this because we [00:01:37] think there's going to be some additional costs associated with the [00:01:39] rebar would be epoxy, there need be some testing of concrete and Mr. Henry did [00:01:46] come back with the modification based on Public Works review and information [00:01:52] bulletin by the architect and revised this estimate to $22,363.55. [00:02:03] So we feel that a 25% contingency upon the 18, the original bid would more than [00:02:09] cover any additional costs as a result of the information bulletin that the [00:02:17] vendors recommended to review. Thank you. Open it up for public comment. Seeing no [00:02:22] one come forward bring it back. Move for approval. Second. To the maker. I think it's outstanding that Mr. Henry gets to work on this project. I'm glad it's local. I'm glad it's and Mr. Henry has worked for a long time and I know his real goal is for him and some of his group to get inside the Hacienda because they feel like they've got some historical capabilities and this might be the first [00:02:47] opportunity for us to really reach out but I'm I can't be happier that Greg [00:02:53] Henry and his his group are being given the opportunity to win this work in New [00:02:58] New Port Richey. Thank you. To the second. I ditto that being a small businessman I'm [00:03:05] 100% the small business in the local business and I'm looking forward to [00:03:10] seeing a lot more of the local businesses bidding our projects in the city. Mr.
